DIRECTOR
Briana is thrilled to be working once again with V-Day Toronto, having acted in The Vagina Monologues and MMRP in 2007 and 2008. She was recently seen performing an excerpt of her one-woman show Cassandra at Theatre Passe Muraille, which was also produced as part of FemFest in Winnipeg, and at Fringe festivals across the country. Past directing credits include work with the Toronto Fringe, HotScrawls festival, Rhubarb! Festival, New Ideas Festival, and assistant directing The Canadian Stage Company’s production of Misery at the Bluma Appel Theatre. Briana is a graduate of York University’s playwriting program and a past participant in Nightwood Theatre’s Write from the Hip program. She is currently an Associate Artistic Producer with the Paprika Festival at the Tarragon Theatre.
