SCOTT DERMODY
DIRECTOR
Scott occupies his time teaching children the finer (and sometimes blunter) points of theatre and enjoys gently nudging them towards their own personal fits of brilliance. This may have something to do with his fondness for directing, but we cannot be certain...

V-Day 09 marks Scott's second involvement with the movement, having performed the piece Eye to Eye last year in Toronto's premiere production of MMRP.  Production credits include: Raging Dreams: into the visceral (Mentorship Intern, Theatre Gargantua), A New Brain (Producer, Queen's Musical Theatre), Vogt Studio Series (Producer, Queen's Drama), Existere 10 (Director, Queen's Residence Life), Follow Your Nose (Director, GNU Ground). Stage credits include: Veronika Decides to Die (Darkroom Theatre Projects), Everyman (Single Thread Theatre), Variations on X & Why We Float (Queen's Drama), Antigone (Queen's Classics). Scott holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Queen's University.
